Do-it-yourself sewerage of a private house
To enjoy housing in a private house, you need to solve a lot of issues. One of the most important is the task of cleaning sewage. You can hire a company and they are all sewer system installationwill be produced professionally - but it is expensive. Our handy men, mostly handymen - and many solve these engineering problems with their own hands.

General information
Happy are those owners of a land plot, the composition of which is sandy or sandy.
Installation of a sewage treatment plant on such lands is quite simple: dug and equiped a couple of cesspools and use it calmly for three or four years, then, using a sewage machine, the main cesspool is cleaned and life continues again, at the same pace.
But if you have a clay area with a close occurrence of groundwater, this problem becomes one of the main ones.
Before you had time to dig holes, after rain and melting snow, your holes were head over heels in water.
These problems are primarily addressed by the creation of site drainage system.
Secondly, it is necessary to build septic tanks, i.e. cesspools without access to groundwater.
What is a septic tank?
Septic tanks are chambers for the treatment of sewage (human waste).
In the chamber, with the help of bacteria, the waste decomposes (solid particles settle and linger in the chamber, the liquid fractions go for further treatment).
In order for bacteria to carry out high-quality work, they need at least 24 hours to slow down the movement of waste inside the septic tank, it is necessary to divide the septic tank into separate parts, in professional septic tanks, containers are usually divided using partitions.
According to the norms, water should be left to stand for at least 72 hours, i.e. the volume of the treatment septic tank should be equal to three daily doses of effluents.
Types of septic tanks
Septic tanks are reinforced concrete, metal or plastic.
We will consider a way to create a septic tank from three plastic barrels, each volume is 1 m3.
The manufacturing material may be different, but the principle of creating a septic tank is common to all materials.
We will proceed from the calculation of the daily norm of human waste in the amount of 100 liters.
The average family usually consists of 4 people.
The volume of waste is small and this makes it possible to use a closed storage septic tank.
Our polyethylene containers have a wall thickness of more than 3 mm., At the bottom there are drain taps with screw caps, at the top there is an opening with a threaded cap.
We will place our containers in a continuous box made of galvanized metal, but the box is optional, the containers can be fixed to the base of the cellar.
Roy cellar under a septic tank
If it is possible to use the technique, it is necessary to dig a foundation pit measuring 5x3 meters and a depth of 2 meters.
If there is no equipment, dig with your hands.
Do not forget that it is necessary to provide free access to the septic tank to the septic tank.
After the pit is dug, a sand cushion 10-15 cm high is poured onto the bottom, a reinforced concrete slab is laid on it.
The walls around the perimeter are laid out with bricks or foundation blocks.
At the same time, an opening for the supply pipe is provided in the upper part, and a discharge pipe in drainage system.
Installation of a septic tank
In accordance with the dimensions of the three tanks, a common frame is cooked, on which a galvanized metal box is installed, close to the pipe inlet and fixed with cement mortar.
All three plastic containers must be positioned in such a way that the lower drain holes are on one side, if it is necessary to repair the container, you can completely empty the containers through these valves.
First, we make the connection of the inlet pipe with the first tank, for this we open the top cover and mark the entrance of the sewer pipe through a galvanized container into a plastic tank, make a hole 100 mm in size., A prerequisite - the hole in the galvanized tank should coincide with the hole of the plastic tank.
Through these holes, with the help of a sleeve and a piece of polyethylene pipe with a diameter of 100 mm., The inlet sewer pipe is connected to the first tank.
Next, an incision is made in the form of a circle with a diameter of 100 mm. on the opposite side of the first tank and the second tank docked to it, these holes should be the same in height and below the inset of the inlet sewer pipe, about 10 cm.
Using the coupling and the pipe section, the first and second tanks are docked.
The next stage is the connection of the second and third tanks.
We make holes 10 cm lower than the hole at the junction of the first and second containers, we also connect using a sleeve and a pipe segment.
The last step is to connect the third tank with a drainage network.
We reliably seal the joints of the couplings and pipes with silicone sealant of a waterproof brand, close the galvanized metal box.
The final stage of work
The cellar in which our homemade septic tank is located must be closed.
We put three metal channels 100p along the upper wall trim, on them, a reinforced concrete slab is laid on top, all the cracks are closed, a hole is left for installing forced ventilation inside the cellar, a sewer hatch is made near the first tank, a metal staircase is installed for maintenance and lowering into the basement, into the basement conducted lighting and forced ventilation.
For safety reasons, before going down to the sewer basement, it is necessary to carry out forced ventilation.
It is necessary to lay a waterproofing material on top of the plates, then fill everything with a 20 cm thick layer of earth.
As a natural ventilation, a ventilation pipe is used, it is also a sewer supply pipe, which has a riser with access to the roof of the house and air enters the discharge pipe through a drainage pipe.
The work, of course, is big, but it turned out a reliable sewer
