What is a sewage pump installation

A fairly wide selection of models of sewage pumping plants allows you to choose among them suitable models designed to connect a group of plumbing devices or only one of them. It should also be borne in mind that all models designed for systems including a toilet are equipped with a pump with a grinder. • electric pump
• storage tank
• control unit.

Wastewater that appears as a result of the operation of plumbing devices in the house by gravity flows into a storage tank. When they reach a predetermined volume, the level sensor is triggered and the contents of the tank are forcedly removed through the pressure pipes.

If it is planned that the effluents will be without feces, then it will be enough to equip the sewage system with an installation for pumping contaminated water, for example, Sololift 2 D 2.

If the drains will contain toilet paper and faeces, an installation with a system for grinding and further pumping out wastewater will be required, and outlet pressure pipes with a diameter of up to 40 mm can be used.

Using a pumping unit allows you to remove wastewater at a distance of at least 100 m horizontally or about 10 m in height. You do not need to strictly monitor the slope, for installation you can use a bent pipe made of plastic.

The available Sololift sewer stations are divided into several types. The difference between them is in functionality and power, but in appearance it is difficult to distinguish between them. The station is a body made of high-quality durable polymer with a pump attached to it. Its inclusion is made automatically, upon reaching a certain level of liquid in the tank.

Some of the systems are equipped with a cutting impeller. Since the station’s inlet has a diameter of 100 mm, it is not difficult to connect it to a sewer pipe with a diameter of 110 mm.

A working pump can provide a rise in wastewater to a height of 5 to 100 meters.

Since Sololift installations are unique and created using the latest technologies, it is rather difficult to talk about the presence of deficiencies in them. The presence in the design of the units of additional units and parts made it possible to perfect their functionality. At the same time, Sololift pumping units are distinguished by a very simple principle of operation.

Energy consumption occurs only during the period when the pump is turned on, however, the operation of the installation is possible only if there is uninterrupted power supply with electricity.

Sololift Sewer Pumping Line

Sale of pumping units is carried out in a form that is completely ready for operation, but their different models differ in installation method, functionality and cost. The Sololift line of stations includes the following series:
Sololift WC can be connected to drain drains only from the toilet, models with numbers 1 and 3 have the ability to additionally connect drains from the sink, shower or bathtub.

Sololift2 C - 3it will be required if the drains can have a sufficiently high temperature, for example - if you connect a washing or dishwasher. The maximum temperature of the liquid pumped by the pump is up to +75 degrees C. Installing this model equipped with a knife system will eliminate the risk of clogging the sewer with hygiene items. By the way, before the knife system of a similar quality was used only in professional pumps.

The system has similar characteristics Sololift CWC - 3, but a slightly modified design of the model allows its installation in sewer systems with a wall-mounted toilet. Thanks to the nozzle located at the end, installation is very simple.

The pumping station is slightly different from previous models in design and dimensions. Sololift D 3  it has a lower height, you can connect a shower, sink, bath to it. For models with more power, you can connect more sewage pipes. Each of the models involves an installation option that allows you to hide it from view.

Pump installation Sololift2 CWC-3  allows you to connect several plumbing devices to it, including those having wastewater with a temperature of up to 50 degrees, i.e. washing and dishwasher units. The model provides the ability to output the pressure pipe if necessary up or to the side. If liquid gets into the device whose temperature exceeds the permissible temperature, the overheat protection system is activated. The tightness of the tank prevents the possibility of leaks, even if the water level is exceeded.
