Types of door handles
All door handles for the purpose are divided into interior and entrance. The latter, in the first place, should be distinguished by reliability, while we more expect a beautiful aesthetic appearance from interior rooms.

Most often, such handles with latches are made of metal aluminum, steel, brass or other alloys. The most popular are brass handles, since it is brass of all metals that is the most pleasant to the touch, and also perfectly tolerates various loads, has high aesthetics and is relatively inexpensive to process.
Of course, there are also wooden handles, glass (most often from Bohemian or Murano glass), as well as accessories made of natural stone, most often jade.
How to choose a handle for an interior door
Before choosing a door handle, you need to consider that it must not only cost, technical characteristics and quality, but also a design that must match the style of the interior. For example, if the entire interior of your home and a separate room is made in high-tech style, then the gilded interior door handle with elaborate elements will look ridiculous.
It should also be borne in mind that the handle should fit under the door itself, both in color and in elements.
However, when choosing a handle, it is also necessary to take into account the degree of load on it, since, for example, fragile hardware on a heavy door will quickly become unusable, unable to withstand the forces applied to manipulate the blade.
Latch door handle device
The base of the door handle with a halyard latch is a spring-held oblique tongue. A door with such a handle will open / close by pressing or turning the door handle. Recently, latch locks with a lock, the mechanism of which has a double-sided push handle and a rotary button, are becoming more and more popular. Tools required to install the door handle
First of all, you will need fasteners. When installing door accessories, the durability and reliability of the handle depend on these elements. In addition, do not forget that the pins, locking screws, screws and other fasteners affect the appearance of the hardware, so they should not fall out of the overall design.
Also to install the interior door handle with a latch you will need: a drill, a flat chisel, a drill pen, a screwdriver, a hammer, a pencil and a square. Install door handle with snap mechanism
Before proceeding with large-scale actions to install a door handle, first of all, it is necessary to make markings on the door leaf and determine at what height our accessories will be located. The marking is best done with a good angle.
Next, draw a line with a pencil on one side and make an awl mark at a distance of about 60 millimeters from the edge of the canvas. After that, using a square, you must draw a line also at the end, and then make markings on the other side of the door.
After the marking is finished, we take a drill with a crown on a tree and begin to make a hole on one of the sides. At the same time, it is not advisable to drill through right away, it is better to drill to a depth equal to half the thickness of the door leaf. Complete drilling is carried out using similar manipulations, but on the other side of the door leaf. This way you will be sure that the back of the door will remain intact.
Next, replace the crown with a pen drill and make a hole from the end of the door, and then use a chisel to break through the contour and make a selection.
Next, you need to install the filling of the handle and screw it with screws. The last step is to twist the two parts of the structure.
At the very last stage of installing the door handle, we must install a metal frame on the box. Next, attach a frame to the box and mark the sampling area under the plate and under the tongue. Here, first of all, you will need to make a selection under the tongue. But the contour for the frame should be cut only after you make sure that the tongue from the latch can completely and the door closes normally.
