Depending on the time of use, the pools for summer cottages are divided into all-season and seasonal. Seasonal pools are installed at the end of spring, and at the beginning of autumn they are dismantled and put away for storage. Such pools are good in small areas, because every year you can install them in a new place, sending part of the garden to rest, and even move during the summer. They are usually small and are designed for bathing several children or cooling a couple of adults. There is no place to swim here, therefore, the installation of a frame pool does not require special efforts and knowledge, it is enough to carefully study the manufacturer's instructions. Small pools are installed using tubes that hold a large waterproof bag made of several layers of PVC. Larger models are reinforced with steel sheet rolled into a roll, and the number of racks supporting the pool is also increasing. Here you can relax in a small company. The sizes and shapes of frame pools are very diverse.
All-season frame pools are distinguished by a larger thickness of metal coated with several layers or enamel. Thanks to a more durable frame, such pools withstand the winter cold in the assembled state. They differ in large volume, but their price is higher. Such models are good in large areas, because you will have to think about its location in advance, and moving to another place is quite problematic. The round frame pool is more stable, the water pressure on the sides is distributed more evenly in it, therefore this form is preferred for all-season models.
Popular manufacturers
The domestic market for frame pools, as always, was captured by the Chinese. The two largest manufacturers of frame pools Intex and Bestway are fighting for the buyer.
Intex frame pools differ from Bestway frame pools in their design. Price and quality, in most cases, are about the same.
Manufacturers are trying to appease the buyer, including additional accessories in the pool equipment: a lining for the pool, an awning to protect the pool when they are not in use, pumps, ladders, and cleaning kits.
Frame pool installation
Assembling frame pools of a small volume is not difficult, but it is better to thoroughly approach the installation of an all-weather model. First, you need to decide where the pool will be located. It is desirable that its place is located away from trees, this will solve the problem of debris that will fall right into the water and roots, which can eventually damage the waterproof film.
Under the pool, a rectangular frame clears a place of an appropriate shape, but 15 cm less than the bottom, under a round we release a round platform, respectively. The tale that it is enough to remove stones from under such a pool has nothing to do with reality. Firstly, you need to remove all the vegetation from the chosen place, because it will begin to rot and spoil the rest with a specific smell, and secondly, it is necessary not only to level the area, but also to deepen it by 10-15 cm, so that there is a place for adding sand and laying insulating material.
After the place for the pool is selected, we remove the top layer of the earth together with vegetation. After that, with a shovel, we qualitatively level the site. Using a long flat board and building level, we check the slope of the site, if it is significant, we will have to deepen the site and use more sand to level it, because even the best frame pool should be located horizontally. After adding, we check the site again, now it should be perfectly flat. We lay the film, and on top of the foam plate, and preferably expanded polystyrene, the last service life will be longer, due to the density. We fix everything with scotch tape, we cut off all the materials that look beyond the edges of the site with scissors.
At the prepared site we collect the pool frame. If the soil is unstable, then under each metal rack you need to put a wooden lining. After mounting with a plumb line, we check the horizontal position of the supports.
Now you can fix the PVC film and collect water.
Daily service
In order for the water in the pool not to bloom, you can use special chemistry, and if the pool is small, just change it more often. Every day it is necessary to remove large debris from the surface of the water and filter.
Manufacturers claim that the life of the pools reaches 15 years. Thanks to new developments, the metal frame frame pool has a reinforced frame, however, it still needs constant inspection and timely repair. Only a careful attitude will allow him to serve for a long time. At the end of summer, most sellers arrange sales for seasonal products, so there is a wonderful opportunity to purchase a frame pool inexpensively.
