The principle of operation of a condensing gas boiler
The classic way of heating water in traditional hot water boilers, where the heating process occurs due to the transfer of heat from burning fuel (wood, coal, diesel fuel, gas) in condensation boilers, is supplemented by the ability to use part of the heat that is carried out through the chimney. For this, an additional heat exchanger is built into the boiler. Such a pattern during the combustion process, the hydrocarbon oxidation product immediately turns into vapor and evaporates. If this steam is condensed, then upon cooling it will provide additional energy directed to heating the coolant.
Thus, over the same period of time, more water is heated, and less fuel is needed for this. This is where the savings are hidden. Measurements showed that the emission of harmful gases is significantly reduced when using the condensation effect. For example, CO (carbon dioxide) enters the atmosphere up to 90% less than with conventional boilers.
Condensing boiler installation
Installation of a heating system using a condensing boiler is similar to the process of installing a conventional hot water boiler. It is important to take into account the safety requirements for the entire system, and it is advisable to install the boiler on a ramp (with the floor version), wall-mounted boilers are hung in places where the least amount of dust is accumulated.
