Floor insulation on the loggia

Warm electric floor on the loggia

Having decided to insulate the floor of the balcony with your own hands, you need to imagine in advance the future expenses. It is necessary to spend money on a lag device (the price of edged lumber today is about $ 170-200 per m3), on the purchase of insulation (the cost of the cheapest option starts from 150 rub per m2 and can increase to infinity, depending on the type and quality of insulation). Also, one should not forget that the heating cable must be purchased depending on the size of the room and the prices for it start at 200 rubles per m. The most expensive option is the arrangement of the infrared floor.
Prices start at 400r per m2, which is certainly not very cheap. When making an estimate for the installation of a warm floor, it is necessary to lay down the costs there for the concrete screed (if needed), and for small expenses (construction tape, self-tapping screws, nails).
