How to calculate the roof of a metal tile
The calculation of the number of sheets for a roof made of metal is made long before the start of construction, preferably at the design stage of the roof. In order to avoid the procedure of cutting metal sheets, it is most advantageous to calculate the total number of sheets. This is due to the fact that the roofing sheets have a pronounced wave configuration that mimics the shape of the tiles. Such waves have a certain step, which must be taken into account when counting the number of sheets. For example, for a simple roof with a small slope angle, one sheet of metal tile is considered in length and width, the rest in the effective number of waves. When calculating, it is necessary to take into account the overhang, because the overhang determines the subsequent dimensions of the rafters, the crates and the drainage system. In this case, it is necessary to carefully monitor so that the first board does not protrude overhang and is directed in a straight line.
It is convenient to control the verification of the distance between subsequent boards on the ground.
To do this, the boards are laid out on the ground parallel to each other at the required distance, and then only mounted. It must be remembered that the distance between subsequent boards in the crate should be equal to the transverse step of the sheet profile itself. After complete installation of the battens, the end and ridge levels are fastened.

Laying metal and mounting sheets
According to the technology of mounting metal tile sheets, the first sheet is installed with its subsequent fastening with a self-tapping screw to the crate. The next second sheet is set so that the bottom edges make a straight line. Mounting is carried out with an overlapping self-tapping screw at the top of the wave edge located under the first lower fold. So it is necessary to fasten at least 4 sheets of broom sheets to each other in order to align the entire edge of the roof. Then only make the final fastening to the crate. According to the installation technology, metal tiles are fastened with self-tapping screws at the rate of 7-8 pieces per square meter.
The main element of a complex roof - endova
A key element of a complex roof is the valley. The system constructively represents the inner corner of the roof, which necessarily forms at the junction of the slopes. That is why the whole load from the impact of daily precipitation falls on the valley.

According to the type of application and functional purpose, the upper and lower endov are distinguished.
The top is the main decorative element of the roof for private homes. The upper endova protects the zones of all internal bends. The upper element is mounted on top of the metal tile. The upper element has a double curved hem, creating additional rigidity. Structurally, a drain trough is formed in the middle of the element, giving the system additional rigidity.
The lower valley is a protective element at the joints with a negative roof angle. The lower element is attached from below, protecting the joints from unwanted penetration of moisture or leaks into the under-roof space.
Fastening of elements is carried out by self-tapping screws. The mounting location in the complex roof is chosen so as not to damage the lower valley.
For the device of the roof of a private house, the upper and lower elements are selected from the same material and color, like the main metal tile.
Installation of a level and adjunction nodes on a difficult roof
To seal the joints of abutment nodes on the roof of slopes to the wall, abutment strips are used. The installation technology involves fixing the strips in two places: at the top of the wave and at the same time on the side adjacent to the roof. The sealing of the strip to the wall is achieved by using silicone mastic.
If there is a pipe on the roof, then the junction nodes and strips are installed according to a certain technology.
