General information
Back in the Middle Ages, flower growers tried to take lilies from nature and grow in gardens.
Like any plant, lily bulbs well take root in the garden and bloomed - if they were dug nearby.
Plants brought from far away felt completely different; the bulk of them simply perished.
Botanists decided to help flower growers and in the forties of the twentieth century a classification of species lilies was developed.
Lily flower began to be massively grown in the United States, Holland and other countries.
As a result of breeding lilies, flower growers came to the conclusion that it is not lily bulb plants taken from nature that are best taken root, but hybrid ones.
These lilies were not only beautiful, but also more hardy to grow because of their hybrid origin.
In the early sixties, in the United States developed a classification of hybrid lilies.
The first section of the classification includes a group of Asian hybrids.
Asian hybrids
Lilies of Asian hybrids are well known to Russian flower growers, although hybrids came to us only in the 50-60s of the twentieth century.
In Russian gardens, flower growers grew wild natural species such as tiger lily or saranka, Daurian lily, and dwarf lily.
These flowers grow in the forests of Primorye and Eastern Siberia.
Gradually, flower growers began to receive hybrids and the first to reach Russia were the most stable and unpretentious Asian hybrids.
Varieties of this group of lily flower are the most numerous and most diverse in color.
Asian hybrids are distinguished by endurance, good reproduction.
Florists grow this flower throughout the country: from south to north, from west to east.

In August and September, potassium monophosphate is introduced. Fertilizers are applied in accordance with the instructions on the packaging.
Asian hybrids do not take shelter for the winter, at each transplantation it is necessary to plant in new soil, sand must be added for loosening.
You can plant in spring and autumn.
Asian hybrids are high and low, early and late.
Lilies are divided into hybrid groups according to one or several criteria: Brashmark, Pixie, Tango, etc.
