When working, pre-arrange the foam sheets, this will reduce the amount of waste. Seams, depending on the glue used, must be foamed or necessarily glued.
When using extruded polystyrene foam, the external finish can be minimized by gluing the seams with aluminum foil. This material has increased rigidity and will last a long time without problems.
When using foamed polystyrene foam of low density, it is necessary to cover the material. You can use siding, OSB or wood lining for this.
As a heater, you can use polyurethane foam. Foamed sprayed polyurethane foam will insulate the gate in seconds. Good adhesion (at the level of 2 kg / cm2) to most materials allows its use in any conditions. The manufacturer company guarantees reliable operation of the insulation up to 10 years. In this case, the operation lines can be up to 50 years. To increase the service life and good appearance of PPU, it is necessary to protect it with an additional layer.
Sectional doors insulated
Sectional doors are designed to avoid many problems of swing gates.
