Honeysuckle Korolkova
Korolkova’s honeysuckle is a very ornamental shrub with bluish-green leaves, up to three meters high, blooms with pink flowers, some varieties have red flowers.
The flowering period is from May to June (up to three weeks).
At the end of flowering, they form spherical bright orange decorative berries, they add charm to the bush until late autumn.
Honeysuckle Tatar
This is a shrub with a height of 3 to 4 meters, depending on the variety, have a different color: from white to red.
At the end of flowering, forms inedible fruits, depending on the variety, orange or red.
Honeysuckle maak
It is a densely branched, sprawling shrub up to 5 meters high. The diameter of an adult bush reaches 3 meters. During flowering, young shoots located in horizontal tiers are completely covered with snow-white fragrant flowers, up to 2 centimeters in size.
Upon reaching the age of 5-6 years, this shrub blooms annually in the first half of June for three weeks. At the end of August, numerous berries of bright red color ripen, the fruits are not edible for humans, but they decorate the bush very much after the leaves fall and attract birds.
Honeysuckle cover
It is a shrub up to three meters high, with beautiful large dark green leaves. When using this shrub in garden design, it must be borne in mind that a fairly dense crown has a drawback, since the lower part is exposed with age.
Given this nuance, plant low shrubs in the lower tier, shrubs with light foliage or grassy perennials look very good.
Throughout June, during flowering, the shrub looks very exotic: numerous yellow, sometimes slightly reddish flowers sit in pairs.
Further, in early July, the fruits ripen - black, shiny, in the shape of a sphere, covered by purple pre-flowers - all this gives the bush an unusual look.
This honeysuckle grows very quickly, blooms and bears fruit from three years, but the fruits are not edible.
Along with tall shrubs, there are many types of honeysuckle in the form of woody beautifully flowering vines.
These honeysuckle vines are more demanding on soil fertility and moisture. They grow better in a sunny place, but can withstand penumbra.
Honeysuckle Honeysuckle
This is a beautifully flowering curly shrub, it rises on a support to a height of 6 meters.
Large flowers, up to 5 cm, are yellowish inside, purple-red outside, fragrant, especially in the evening, blooms all June.
This honeysuckle-liana begins flowering from the age of four, a good honey plant.
Orange-red fruits are not edible, but they adorn plants very much; they ripen in early August.
Since honeysuckle gives a lot of root shoots, offspring come from the roots, this plant grows up and in breadth.
It looks very nice in the vertical gardening of arbors, canopies, arches, pergolas, used to mask tree trunks and hedges.
Honeysuckle is very widespread in Russia, although in very severe winters, annual shoots can freeze, but they have the ability to recover quickly and therefore the whips can not be removed from the supports for the winter.
Brown Honeysuckle
This is a decorative tree liana, capable of climbing up to a height of 2.5 meters on a support, it blooms from July to September, has a variety of garden forms with different colors of flowers, often red, but, unfortunately, odorless flowers.
Telman's Honeysuckle
This winding shrub is able to climb on a support to a height of 4 meters. This honeysuckle is less frost-resistant than honeysuckle and Brown honeysuckle, but annual shoots damaged in winter have the ability to grow quickly.
During the 12 days of June, this shrub looks very attractive. The whole bush is strewn with large, elegant shapes, brightly colored in orange flowers. It has orange fruits that ripen in September.
